Projects:

Image analysis of multidimensional biological data sets (pre-processing, registration, fusions, segmentation, features) is Sebastian Pfeiffer’s speciality. Between 2011 and 2012, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow with the research group „Physical Biology“ in Ernst Stelzer’s team. Since January 2013, he and his partners have been supported with an “Exist Business Start-Up Grant” (“Exist-Gründerstipendium”) by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) to advance their company da-cons. Sebastian Pfeiffer works two to three days per week in Ernst Stelzer’s team in Frankfurt. The da-cons team works, e.g., with data provided by the “Physical Biology” group in order to develop and improve the data processing pipeline.
